I would love to hear your opinion about the new “Star Wars” movies. I am wondering if you guys liked them or thought the were bad. In my opinion, I thought they were not nearly as good as the the original movies. Just wondering about your opinions. Thank you!

No. The prequel films are still worse than the current trilogy (Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Star Wars: The Last Jedi). The current trilogy is far from perfect, but not quite as terrible as some factions make them out to be. What's worse than it was before is the toxicity of the fandom. I don't like the current trilogy as much as I like Rogue One. The difference is that Rogue One had stakes. Because you were unfamiliar with the characters and there wasn't a family line you were following. So, it felt like the stakes were higher. You become more invested in the characters if you don't know if they'll live or die.
