What's the need for me to lie down on my back while talking to a therapist? Is it something universally agreed on?
It makes me extremely vulnerable and helpless. A position that I've never been proud of. Maybe that's why I need the therapy, but can we just talk while standing? Or squatting?
Can we have these sessions at the swimming pool while doing occasional dives to hide my tears?
Or better can we switch roles? You lie down and offer your diagnosis to me while I'm sitting upright.
Anyway, all of you need therapy.
