Problems Associated with Computers

Computers are very important machines, especially in the world of today. However, they also bring out some problems in the society to some extend, such as:
Job replacement and job displacement: Since computers are automated, fast, accurate and flexible, they can replace many workers in the work place.A task that can be done by 100 employees, a single computer can accomplish it. This brings social and economic problems, as it renders many people jobless.
Health problems: There are some health problems associated with over use of computers. Some of the health problems include cancer, due to exposure to harmful radiations. Other health problems include eye strain and back pains. Exposure to radiations can be minimized by the use of radiation filter screens, and keeping safe distance from the body when using computers. Eye strain can be minimized by using screen with high resolution and normal brightness. Back pains can be minimized through the use of an ergonomic chair.
