Team managers should go for youth and talent and not entirely experience, do you agree?

In football/soccer the manager has the most important role in detecting, scouting and contracting the best players he could find then assembling together to make one formidable team. There are those managers who prefer young talented players whom they mould to become stars while others go for known stars with experience, who have been proven elsewhere and seen to perform. Personally I would prefer a mixture of the two, known superstars ready to perform and the talented youth ready to learn from their seniors. A successful manager must be able to balance between the two so as to ensure consistency and continuity.
