I've learned the basics of Python 3 and HTML, and I'm wondering which to pursue further—or if I should just learn a different one altogether. I've heard that Python 3 is extremely important to know nowadays, but then I've also heard C# being important too.

I think that it really depends on what you want to use the language for. I started learning Java mostly because it was easy and it was used in a lot of my classes. I think that Python is a very important language (it is actually the language I am currently learning) since it is all around useful. C# is very useful for making games since Unity uses it as it's main coding language. My brother who does engineering uses MATLAB. I think that if you want to use a language which is all around useful, go for c++, Java, or Python (I would suggest mastering more of Python before switching languages). If you want to make games, go for c#, and if you want to do engineering work use MATLAB.
